Woman in grief abiding during the storm

Psalm 34:3-4, O magnify the Lord with me, let us exalt His name together;  I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

As I attempt to write this blog for today, my heart is heavy.  I am called to encourage, educate, teach, train, advocate, pray for and with those around the world, and challenge and comfort those in need.  But today, I have to share with you that I am exhausted-it was a week indeed!  In order to replenish myself, I had to step away from everything, turn off the television, sit in silence, pray, read the Word of God, turn on some praise music, and enjoy a really good plate of food. After this moment of replenishing my soul and spirit, I am ready to invite each of you to join me in praying for our country, our leadership, federal civil servants, and all those who may be feeling doubt, fear, exhaustion, worry, forgotten, lonely, betrayed, confused, and sad.  God is still on the throne!  God is the Great I am!  His Word tells us that He will not leave us nor forsake us!

The Bible tells us in Nahum 1:7, The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.  He cares for those who trust in Him.  Isaiah 40:29, He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Psalm 23:4, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

The Bible reminds us in the books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke that God is on the boat with us during the storms of life.  Never forget this!  No matter what happens in 2025, we must not just accept Jesus as the head of our life, but we must abide in His Love, and that means abiding during the storm. Abiding means we have to do something.  Please seek God first for everything that you need! As previously mentioned, God has promised to protect us, provide for us, prepare us, and propel us to where He would have us to be during this critical time in our history. There is safety and peace in His arms!

As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up!  God has so much in store for each of us and because of this, we will abide in Him in 2025!

Always look for the Remarkable in your life!

Min., Dr. ReShone
