Thank you for walking with me on this Abiding in God’s Love journey! In a world that often feels uncertain, love remains our anchor. As I reflect on my life, I see how love—especially God’s love—has sustained me through seasons of loneliness, doubt, hardship, loss, fear, and waiting. Love is the quiet force that calms our hearts when everything else feels unstable.
As previously stated, to abide in God’s love is to remain, to dwell, to root ourselves in the love that never fails. This abiding is not passive—it’s active, intentional, and deeply relational. Once we are rooted, we must extend that love outward. In times like these—12 days into a government shutdown with no resolution in sight, coupled with the fear of mass furloughs, violence running rampant throughout the country and in Mississippi over the weekend, many families are scared and hurting. Paychecks are paused, uncertainty is rising, and stress is mounting. Now more than ever, we must check in on one another, pray for one another, and be present in tangible ways.
The Bible calls us to take action in Galatians 6:2, Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 1 John 3:18, Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Let us not grow weary. Let us be the hands and feet of Christ. Whether it’s a phone call, a shared meal, or a quiet prayer lifted on someone’s behalf, love in action is what abiding looks like in this moment.
As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! God has so much in store for each of us, and because of this, we will abide in Him in 2025!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
