Last week, I talked about believing to see and to meet Ervin “Magic” Johnson and how it worked out according to my plan and at the right time. But what about when you are believing, and it doesn’t work out according to your plan and your timeline? Are you still able to believe? Believe it or not, you can go to the Bible to find answers to any issue. We can also find scriptures to help us during those moments of unbelief. There is one situation with a man with a sick son, in Mark 9:24, Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me over my unbelief!” Another example of unbelief can also be found in John 20:25, So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them “Unless I see the nail marks in His hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

Our God can handle our moments of unbelief. During those times, we must turn to Him and draw closer to Him for guidance and comfort. He can meet you and answer you during those critical moments of unbelief. There were many times since I have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis that I thought “this situation is too hard!” You too may be facing your own “situation that is too hard” and it may be finances, loneliness, healing, grief, seeking a promotion or you may have started a new position and uncertainty may be weighing you down.

Remember, our God is with you even during those moments of unbelief. We are told in Jude 1:22, Be merciful to those who doubt. Because of God’s mercy, we can believe that according to scripture all things will work together for our good! Therefore, whatever you do, don’t stop believing!

Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
