Trust the Process!

Since Re-Imagining Contentment was published on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, I have been busy with the marketing campaign. This requires a completely different skill set, and I would be happy to receive any feedback that you may have.  One of my literary buddies, Wendy Hackey, who is an amazing author and has published several children’s books, recommended that I have my book reviewed.  This recommendation made me feel really nervous because of the judgment and scrutiny of my work.  After much prayer and discussion with family and friends, I decided to do it as part of the marketing process and potential exposure.

I utilized Literary Titan for my review.  According to their website, they are dedicated to providing a well-written and informative review.  Their expert reviewers are handpicked for their professionalism and alignment with the book’s larger audience to ensure that you receive an insightful and engaging review.  Once I submitted my book for review, the wait was painful.  During the wait, I had a book signing and shared a passage from the book.  My own words ministered to me and reminded me to Reject (Step 2) and to Reclaim (Step 6). Both chapters reinforced the importance of living life from God’s perspective.  We just have to place our trust in Him!

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 54:4, Do not be afraid, you will not be put to shame.  II Timothy 1:7, For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.  Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
