With a heart full of gratitude, I thank you for attending the Re-Imagining Contentment book signing and meeting the author events held on the East Coast May 18-19, 2025. Your presence made each event so meaningful and provided an opportunity for reflection, connection, and renewal.
I am especially thankful for my East Coast planning team; you all are simply amazing! The venue for the first event was absolutely perfect for the occasion. The food, the decorations, my hair, and makeup were on point. Thank you all for the attention to detail. Andriae Holt, representing the Sister Soul Literary Guild, did an awesome job leading the discussion. The participation of everyone in attendance contributed to the overall success of the event. My U.S. Department of Education family’s support was so special. It really made my day! The door prizes were beautiful and added a special touch to both events. Thank you, Monica Lyles of Moelle Designs, for sharing your gifts! Anita Bazemore, owner of Uniquely Beautiful Photography, you did such a marvelous job with capturing the occasion. You’re an incredible photographer. Thank you!

The second event was hosted by my church, The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square. I can’t say thank you enough for the overwhelming show of support for my book signing. Bishop Anthony G. Maclin is a leader among leaders, and I am so thankful for his role in my life and for the support of my ministry. The outpouring of support and love from my East Coast Family and Friends really made my day!

As we continue this Re-Imagining Contentment journey together, may we utilize the keys found in my book and always remember that “Contentment is not the absence of struggle, but the presence of peace in the midst of it—when we align our hearts with God’s will.”
As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! God has so much in store for each of us, and because of this, we will abide in Him in 2025!
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of
Nakia McCaskill and Dana Outland-Foreman
This post is dedicated in memory of their beautiful lives!
