Thank you so much for attending the Re-Imagining Contentment book signing event at the Southaven Public Library on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Your presence made the day truly special, and I’m deeply grateful for your support and encouragement. I would also like to thank Zachary and the staff at the library for covering all of the details to ensure the success of this event. I couldn’t help but recall my days at Amanda Elzy Elementary School and my days as a member of the library club. I believe Mrs. Pearson, our librarian, was proud! Don’t forget to utilize your public library as a resource this summer, they offer a wide range of activities during the summer months to support students of all ages.
Each event has been different, and that is because of you. It is a joy to share this journey with you—one that explores how we can find peace and purpose even when life takes unexpected turns. As I wrote in the book:
“Now multiple sclerosis or (MS) as it is commonly called, doesn’t consume me, but MS now means: My Savior, My Strong tower, My Shepherd, My Shelter in a storm, My Secret place and My smile.”
This quote reflects the heart of Re-Imagining Contentment—that even in the face of chronic illness or personal hardship, we can redefine our struggles through faith and find strength in our spiritual identity. During this discussion, we highlighted the importance of knowing your medical history. This is very important and everyone should take a moment (review both sides of the family) to do so.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:15, An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Ephesians 1:17, That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. III John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
I hope the book continues to inspire you and offer encouragement as you navigate your own path toward contentment. If you have any reflections or stories to share, I would love to hear from you.
As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! God has so much in store for each of us, and because of this, we will abide in Him in 2025!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
Min. Dr. ReShone
