The Ripple Effect: Re-Imagining Contentment Together

On this beautiful Palm Sunday, I’m inviting you to help me imagine something powerful!

What if one simple introduction could change everything?

As we celebrate the one-year anniversary of my book, Re-Imagining Contentment: Living Life from God’s Perspective, I am launching a community-led initiative called The Ripple Effect: Re-Imagining Contentment Together. This campaign is an invitation—to readers, supporters, and partners to help extend the message of Re-Imagining Contentment one relationship at a time.

Rooted in faith, intentional living, and resilience, Re-Imagining Contentment challenges us to move beyond striving, comparison, and pressure to a life anchored in peace, regardless of circumstance. This message matters deeply, especially in a world that constantly tells us we are not enough or that contentment must be earned.

The Ripple Effect recognizes an important truth: Meaningful impact rarely begins with mass promotion, but it begins with trusted relationships.

Here’s where you come in:

We are asking each person who believes in this message to take one simple, intentional action. You can support any one and or all of the following:

1. Introduce one person who can help carry this message into spaces where it is needed—through books, speaking engagements, teaching opportunities, faith communities, professional organizations, or advocacy partnerships.

   
   

One introduction can create a ripple. One ripple can reach countless lives.

Together, we are not just sharing a book—we are re-imagining what contentment looks like and how it spreads. Here is how you can create that ripple:

2. Write a book review on Amazon or another outlet.

3. Share the Message in Trusted Spaces

   
   

Supporters can amplify the message by sharing it within their personal circles, like book clubs, churches, professional networks, small groups, or community gatherings.

This might include:

• Recommending the book

• Hosting a discussion or study

• Sharing personal reflections on re-imagining contentment and faith

Authentic stories help the message travel farther than promotion ever could.

4. Invite Opportunities for Speaking or Teaching

Those connected to schools, churches, conferences, colleges and universities, nonprofits, or professional organizations can support the Ripple Effect by:

• Inviting speaking engagements

• Recommending workshops or retreats

• Creating opportunities for teaching or facilitated dialogue

These invitations allow the message of contentment to take root in diverse and meaningful environments.

5. Advocate Through Partnership and Collaboration

Supporters can help by identifying or creating strategic partnerships with ministries, advocacy groups, wellness organizations, or leadership initiatives—that align with the values of faith, resilience, and intentional living.

Partnerships expand impact while staying grounded in shared purpose.

6. Cover the Campaign in Prayer and Encouragement

Prayer is foundational to the Ripple Effect. Supporters can commit to praying for:

• Hearts to be open to transformation

• Healing and peace across communities, the country, and the world

• Wisdom, discernment, and God’s guidance throughout the journey

Our Goals:  To help the RIC community better understand our goals, we are seeking to achieve the following:

• Increase our number of subscribers:  Take a moment to join the RIC community if you have not already done so, or invite one person to join.  Go to www.re-imaginingcontentment.com

• Receive national exposure.

• Conduct at least one RIC activity each month.

• Increase the visibility of RIC as an advocacy organization.

As we reflect on Palm Sunday, we are reminded that Jesus entered Jerusalem not with noise or force, but with humility, one step, one path, one faithful act that changed the world. In one act, The Ripple Effect invites you to move forward with intention and trust, believing that one small, faith-filled action can lead to lasting impact. May we lay down the need to chase the next thing and walk in peace. Allow God to use your simple “yes” to bring peace, purpose, and re-imagined contentment to others, one ripple at a time.
