Trusting Him Means Embracing the Contradictions

This year, we are intentionally leaning into what it truly means to trust God. We began this journey by Silencing the Noise, choosing not to let distractions, fear, or the overwhelming voices of the world drown out our pursuit of Him. From there, we moved into Anchoring Our Hearts in His Character, grounding our faith not in shifting circumstances but in who God has consistently proven Himself to be.
Today, we turn our focus to the urgency of Embracing the Contradictions.
As previously noted, faith doesn’t erase tension; it thrives in it. You can celebrate victories while still walking through valleys. You can grieve deep losses and still believe God for miracles. Trust often sounds like this: “Lord, I don’t understand, but I choose You anyway.” This tension isn’t theoretical; it’s personal. I see what is happening nationally, and my heart feels the weight of injustice and the pain across our land. Yet, even in the midst of that heaviness, I am deeply thankful. I’m seeking clarity while navigating moments where challenges and confusion seem to team up against my peace. At the same time, I’m encouraged by the bravery of those who are courageously standing for what they believe, and I carry a profound hope, knowing that God hears and will answer our prayers.
This is when trust becomes real.
Trust shows up when you’re navigating job stress, personal challenges, rising costs, or health concerns, yet you still know the One who sits high and looks low. In the stillness of the night, I was reminded that nothing is impossible for God. The Bible gently yet powerfully reminds us of what our hearts desperately need in moments like these. In Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Isaiah 43:2, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.
I have decided that I may not have the clarification I need but I will trust Him. You may also be facing contradictions of your own, yet I encourage you to keep trusting Him. Don’t allow anything to steal your joy or weaken your confidence in the truth. As we stand in trusting God in 2026, let us unite in prayer for transformed hearts, healing, peace across our land, and an unshakable trust in God to guide us through every challenge.
No matter what the headlines scream or circumstances bring, we choose to stand firm in faith. God’s plans for us are greater than anything we face.
So in 2026, let’s silence the noise, trust Him fully, and look for the remarkable in every moment.
Always look for the remarkable in your life.
