On behalf of Re-Imagining Contentment, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rev. Dr. Leroy Williams, the Deacons, and the Jones Chapel M.B. Church family for the gracious invitation to bring the message on this past 2nd Sunday. It was truly an honor and a joy to share God’s Word. We also joyfully honored our African American heritage and reflected on the importance of training our youth. They did a fantastic job leading the service, including devotion, and we are incredibly proud of them!

My message, “A Steadfast Trust – During a Season of Uncertainty,” came from Jeremiah 17:7–8, But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

The book of Jeremiah was written by its namesake—a priest, a sensitive man, and one called by God from a small village just north of Jerusalem. His ministry was challenging, often earning him the title “the weeping prophet.” Yet despite his quiet nature and humble beginnings, he carried a tremendous calling. This reminds us that God can use everything about us—our background, personality, and experiences—for His glory!

The core message: True blessing, security, and spiritual fruitfulness come from wholeheartedly trusting in the Lord, not in our own resources or the fleeting stability of this world. We must cultivate a deep, abiding relationship with God as our true source of life and strength.

I closed by encouraging everyone to:

• Remain unwavering and faithful—especially in devotion to God.• Be relentless about what you believe.• Reflect God’s unchanging love and reliability, no matter what you face.

A special thank you to my family and friends who came out in support. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to preach the gospel and for all who supported the book signing. Remember—you are not alone on this journey. We will get through this season together. Thank you for your unwavering love and support. As we stand on trust in God in 2026, let us unite in prayer—for transformed hearts, healing across our land, and an unshakable trust in God to guide us through every challenge.

Always look for the Remarkable in your life!

Min. Dr. ReShone

As we celebrate Valentine’s Day this weekend, let us share the love of Jesus Christ.
